What’s the check-in procedure?

Few days before the start of your stay, you will receive an email asking you to give us an approximate time of arrival. We also ask that you contact us by phone 45 minutes prior to your arrival at 1-877-417-1010 so that a member of our team can come and greet you in person at the apartment. We use a keyless system, your own personalized code will be provided upon arrival. Do not hesitate to contact us for any additional information you may need. We will be happy to answer your requests as soon as possible.

Is there parking near the apartment?

There are parking meters in front of the apartment that are perfect for unloading the car. Then, it is always possible to park for free on the neighboring streets, but the spaces are rather difficult to find and there are several restrictive parking signs. In some areas, you can purchase a one-day parking permit ($6/day) to park in resident-only areas. To avoid searching, the easiest solution is to rent one of our private parking spaces located 2 minutes walk from the apartment for $15/day + tax. (Subject to availability. Contact us.)

** Warning, this option is not available for the Fabfours and the City Chalet apartments. However, there are paid public parking spots 5 minutes away.

What about arrival and departure times?

Our friendly and professional team is there to greet you in person. Check-ins are between 4 pm and 11 pm, 7/7. Check-outs are before 11 am.

Is it possible to check-in early?

We CAN’T guarantee anything BUT if you contact us few days prior to your arrival, we can see what’s possible according to the cleaning time, previous guests, etc.
It is sometimes possible to drop off your luggage starting at 1h pm, but will have to go grab lunch or visit the city a little bit while our cleaning crew finishes. Request it as soon as possible.

Is it possible to check-out late?

We CAN’T guarantee anything BUT if you contact us few days prior to your check-out, we can see what’s possible according to the cleaning time, following guests, etc.

If we can’t accommodate you for a late check-out, it might be possible to leave your bags all packed up inside the apartment near the entrance. Make sure to free up the place by 11 am and come back at maximum 3 pm to pick up your belongings. When you come back, please use extra care as the apartment is considered clean and ready for the following guests. Request it as soon as possible.

Where can I leave my bags?

It’s possible to leave your luggage at the Gare d’autocars de Montréal at Berri-Uqam metro station. You can find the necessary information here: gamtl.com/en/bienvenue/faq
If you are using the airport bus shuttle #747 to reach the city center, that bus ends its route there.

How do I recover my security deposit?

If a security deposit has been taken on your credit card, it will be refunded within 5 to 7 days after your departure, if there is no major damage or breakage, this includes smoking inside, partying without permission and all our house rules described in our rental agreement.

What is the Check-out procedures?

When leaving one of MTLVacationRentals apartments, we request of you to do a few simple things. These few steps allow our cleaning crew to be as efficient as can be and therefore, keep our cleaning fee as low as possible. Here they are:

  1. Checkout time is 11 am;
  2. Clean all your dishes by hand or start the dishwasher;
  3. Start a wash with all the used towels and hand towels. Our crew will take care of the beds;
  4. If the BBQ was used, please make sure to clean it as well as its utensils;
  5. Replace the furniture in its place of origin;
  6. Take the trash out to the back/side alley and please pick up all your garbages.
