Stellar apartment in a fantastic location. Beautiful inside, tons of room, helpful guide, internet, big tv, lots of seating space, pretty much everything you need. Check-in was painless (phone call + keycode). Taco place nearby is delicious.
I cannot say enough how much my friends and I loved this place! It was even better than what I expected. We met Yann on our arrival and he was very friendly and insisted we let him know if we have any questions or concerns. The City chalet is in an awesome location to see the city. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go including Mont Royal and St. Laurent Blvd. Anything else was quick 5-10 min Uber ride. It’s also very close to the metro station if you would prefer that to Uber. The apartment was extremely clean and beautiful. We loved hanging out on the deck on the nice warm evenings. Whenever I visit Montreal again I'll definitely be staying here.
First off - the pictures don't do it justice. So if you LOVE the pictures (which I did)... you'll love the apartment even more. I spent the weekend here with a few friends (all of who are from Montreal) and we absolutely loved everything about the location. The space is huge for being located in downtown Montreal, the location is amazing, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is stocked, and you don't even feel like you're downtown. I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking to spend time in Montreal but also feel like they're living at home and not in a hotel or cramped apartment in a busy city. Also, the owners are extremely accommodating and I enjoyed every interaction I had with them. Overall a fantastic experience!
We stayed in this apartment (family of four) and were absolutely delighted with it. The location is great, in a safe neighborhood with many very good restaurants and shops. There's a convenient metro station nearby, and we enjoyed starting our day with coffees and pastries from the bakery two blocks down. The apartment itself is actually huge (I'd joke about getting more steps in on my fitbit when walking to the bathroom) and well-equipped. We ate dinner in several nights and had everything on hand in the kitchen to prepare the meal. Everyone remarked on how comfortable the mattresses were and how well they slept. The hosts provided a guidebook that actually turned out to be very helpful with lots of solid advice about closest bakery, grocery store, good restaurants, and place to get beer. In all their recommendations, they were both candid and accurate - we came to rely on "the book" whenever we were unsure about something and it never steered us wrong. The hosts were also very good to deal with and were responsive to any questions. And again, the neighborhood was great - now that I'm familiar with the city, I'm glad of both the street and the block that we stayed on. I would absolutely rent from these hosts again and stay in this apartment again.
